The work included the complete reconstruction of the square, which is located outside from the old school and the hall of the Cultural Association – and which made all the events of the settlement – with coatings of the Greek block, the placement of new lighting fixtures, the construction of a stone tap on the main road, the configuration of the central square of the settlement, the placement of a new living room, grooming space, work green, etc., as well as changing the lighting of the settlement, lamp type LED, held in the framework of the respective project concerned with the entire Municipality of Malevizi.
The Mayor of Malevizi, in a statement stressed: “our interventions with the aim of highlighting all of the special and unique elements of the settlements of Crete, continues. The beautiful Closet, one of the most beautiful villages of our Municipality, we move on to extensive work that upgrades considerably the settlement, improve the daily lives of residents and make it even more attractive to visitors.
And these projects, implemented by own resources of the Municipality. From money of our citizens who, with prudent management, will return to the local communities with projects to improve the quality of life of our citizens.
I would like to congratulate the officers of the technical services, elected members and staff, for the excellent result”.
The Mayor was accompanied by the deputy mayors Mars Saloustros and Dimitris Τζεδάκης and the supervisor of the Technical Service Rena Papadaki.
