Ciro Imobile was attacked at his son’s school by Lazio fans

Incredible news from Italy, with its quarterback being attacked by fans of his own team, outside his son’s school in Rome. Lazio was eliminated in the Champions League and Immobile is accused of inciting coach Maurizio Shari’s resignation, which appears to have made his team fans furious. Some of them so verbally attacked him, but also with pushes, while he had his wife next to him, taking their son to school. The Italian striker filed a lawsuit against strangers and against the Italian press. According to his lawyers “all this, unfortunately, follows the incitement of hatred that encourages part of the press and journalists through their social networks that spread hate motives against Immobile, reporting facts that do not respond to reality. The statements are seriously slanderous and therefore harmful to his image, professional and personal, and will be brought to the attention of the competent judge.”
