The mp for Magnesia in the question, request the responsible minister to be informed about the actions of the ministry, in order to meet immediate operational gaps in the regional clinics and to ensure the health of the residents of the South Pelion.
The question reads: “one after The other expiring contracts of rural doctors in the villages of South Pelion. We are at the start of the winter season and the residents in these remote areas have to face on their own in the winter, without the necessary medical care. It is worth noting that even for a simple prescription of the move to the Health Center of Argalasti is imperative.
According to the protests of residents of the villages of South Pelion, gaps remain in the rural dispensaries of Lafkos, Neohori, Προμυρίου, the St. Lawrence and the Αφετών. All of these regional clinics within the Health Center of Argalasti, which is called upon to shoulder the workload, given that the insured visited the rural physician, not only for examination but also for a simple prescription.
Finally, it should be noted that the terrain of South Pelion, is not conducive particularly to the movements, who are now called to make the residents of these areas to the Health Center of Argalasti. This is a long and costly distances that affect not only the family budget of inhabitants but also the health of older people.
Asked the Minister:
1) When will fill the vacancies of rural doctors in regional clinics in South Pelion you?
2) How do you intend to experience the serious and dangerous lack of medical care in the villages of South Pelion, until to cover the operating medical blanks?” ending the question of Magnesia.
