China: New Bonds Issue About 560 Billion Yuan by Local Governments in February · Global Voices

Local governments issued a new financial value of around 560 billion yuan (71.46 billion euros) in February, according to the figures of the Ministry of Finance. Of the total number of bonds issued in China special issue bonds were recorded at 444.4 billion yuan (56.71 billion euros) during the same period, while the issue of general bonds amounted to 115.6 billion yuan (14.75 billion euros). For the two months of January – February, the issue of bonds by local governments reached 944.4 billion yuan (120.51 billion euros). These bonds had an average maturity of 12.6 years at an average rate of 2,58%.
