Chelsea coach Emma Hayes forbids sexual relationships on the same team

Inside a team are unacceptable and may lead to significant challenges for coaches, said her coach, Emma Hayes. Newspapers in British media this week reported that Lester’s coach, Willie Kirk is under investigation by the club amid allegations of a relationship with a player. Asked about the need to protect players/players, Hayes told reporters: “Player-coach relationships are inappropriate, player-to-player relationships are inappropriate”. Speaking in view of Friday’s showdown in the Women’s Super League against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge, the English coach said players and coaches should be fully focused “on having the top standards”. Hayes added that player-to-player relationships can make the coach’s job more difficult, saying: “A player is on the team, one is not on the team. Someone could be in the last year of his contract, someone might not be… We’re dealing with human beings. We are talking about this internally.” Former Chelsea chief, Magdalena Erikson and midfielder Pernil Harder, who are a couple, left the London club to join Bayern Munich last year. Source: RES-AE
