guilty for first-degree murder, for the murder of captain Thanassis Labrou that has rocked the Greek.
The judgment of the court was announced at 02:30 in the morning on Wednesday (21/12), after about four weeks of hearing.
Apart from the sentence of life in prison for first-degree murder, the court imposed the Dimitra Voulgari a sentence of imprisonment of 18 months, for possession and gun violence.
In accordance with the arcadiaportal.gr, the court decided to sent copies of the case file to the Prosecutor of the court of Appeal of Nafplion for the investigation of any criminal responsibility-participation in P.A. the friend of the captain in whose house was found murdered.
Earlier on Tuesday, the prosecutor had suggested the guilt of the defendant.
The prosecutor, however, pointed out in his speech that the hearing was not made clear in some of the gaps in the case and noted that on the basis of the data that have arisen can neither be denied, nor confirmed the participation of another person, other than the “black widow” Dimitra Voulgari in the murder of her husband, captain Thanassis Labrou. “The participation of another person, may not be ruled out”, he said.
However, the prosecutor requested an amendment of the bill, in order to attribute correctly the facts in relation to the circumstances of the murder of the captain.
This is because, according to the attorney general, I shot two times as stated in the decree, but was preceded by a scuffle with the victim, where he fell the first shot, which did not result in the death of the victim. Followed second, however, was the coup de grâce for the victim.
The 38-year-old Dimitra Voulgari, he was charged with that he killed with two bullets to the head and belly, the unfortunate navy, with whom he has a daughter, a friend’s house, in the Valley of Ermionida in Argolida, on 8 December 2014.
“I didn’t kill him! I didn’t have a motive. Will prove my innocence”, he supported the 38-year-old, adhering to its original position, while about six months ago, he tried to overturn the ruling of the Council of Misdemeanours, which refers to a trial.
“I have never confessed to the murder,” he insisted, canceling, once again, the original confession, in July 2015, a confession which he claims that he was detached under intense pressure from the police and after exhaustive interrogation. Then, after he appeared on the show “Light in the Tunnel”, imploring those who knew anything to speak of, to reveal the killer, allegedly had confessed before the Security men Nafplio, in accordance with the same, was interrogated for 21 hours: “Yes, I did. The Voulgaris, had filed a lawsuit against two police officers of the Security Nafplio and against any person, claiming that they extracted a confession through torture.
