A reader wonders why a flagpole outside Jubilee College State Park never seems to be flying a flag. Â “Just wondering if the state of Illinois is destitute,” e-mails Mary Fuller. “We’ve been watching for a flag to appear, but it’s been long enough that we’re wondering what the problem is. Hope they get one up by the Fourth of July.”
