Belgium: Ten-day quarantine for the unvaccinated returning from red zones

Brussels is taking stricter measures for unvaccinated travelers.

Those who have not been vaccinated and return to the Belgian capital from red areas, even from EU member states, are required to be quarantined.

In addition to the obligation to test on the first and seventh day upon return from a red zone, unvaccinated persons or without a disease certificate residing in Brussels upon arrival in Belgium from 17 September must observe a 10-day quarantine, as announced by the Joint Community Commission (Cocom) in Brussels.

However, this period may be reduced by taking a negative test result from the seventh day.
