Bees interrupted Alkarath’s match with Zverev at Indian Wells

Unbelievable and yet real. The great encounter between Alexander Zverev in Indian Wells was interrupted, as an entire swarm invaded the field. In one of the world’s largest tennis stages, an entire swarm of bees broke into the field, resulting in Carlos Alkarath and Alexander Zverev unable to play. Especially Alkarath, who was in the service and dozens of bees were threateningly flying over his head. The organizers in consultation with the two tennis players and the referee requested the evacuation of the tournament’s central court. Other times we have seen insects do “out” in the field, but at this point it has never happened before!
