Banksy’s new fresco in London and his environmental message

His new work of art that adorns it was spotted Sunday by local residents of the city. In the Finsbury area Park of northern London appeared the new mural of the well-known street artist. Banksy posted on Sunday (17.03.2024) photographs from the artwork he created confirming that he is “hidden” behind the mural. The mural has green paint sprayed on a wall behind a cut tree to look like a foliage, with a man painted with stencil holding a pressure tube next to it. The Londoners gathered to see the mural, said they were “proud” who had chosen their way and used as a “cavas”. Before the artist confirms it was his work, Islington Flora Williamson’s advisor said it would be “unbelievable” to have a work of Banksy’s art “right in the middle of social housing and in one of the poorest parts of the municipality”. The artist in the series of images he posted, showed the “before” of the empty wall, then the “after” and in the end the detail with man from stencil. See this post on Instagram. Banksy is one of the most famous artists worldwide, but his identity remains unknown, officially. His most famous works include Kissing Coppers (2004) and Girl with Balloon (2006), which was sold at auction in 2018. The artist’s most recent known work, a stop sign with three military drones above him, was stolen a few hours after it was confirmed to be authentic last December.
