Average price decrease of 17% from present to 100 product period

Mesostational reduction 17% at initial prices in 100 products is recorded from today (Wednesday 20 March 2024). These products are added to those categories that since 1 March – as announced by Minister of Development Kostas Skrekas – are included in the intervention that limits the total discounts of suppliers to supermarkets by 30% and transfers the corresponding benefit to the consumer. As of 1 March 2024, the day of the start of government measures to address accuracy, 4.014 basic-class consumer goods have reduced initial prices ranging between 15% and 17%. Minister of Development Costas Skrekas made the following statement: “We continue with unrelenting determination and tension in the fight against accuracy and support all families in Greece with drastic, structural and permanent measures. From now on, all consumers will be able to supply menstrual products at more affordable prices. The measures we have taken have begun to work, but we are not complacent.
