AUTH: Hoods entered with chainsaw into a nuclear reactor site

Nuclear stripe tried to do in an action that had finally been crowned successfully the consequences would have been unpredictable. Specifically an attempt to attack with a chainsaw was attempted by hooded men at the AUTH and specifically in the basement of the Physiothermal School – where a nuclear reactor is located – in order to take over the Biological School again. The attempt was made as News reveals a few 24 hours ago by covert AUTH squatters at the risk of releasing a quantity of radioactivity from uranium rods or a special neutron device. In fact, the information wants the hoods to have broken the outer casing of the protection of the nuclear reactor. It is a “vealing” business in one of the most sensitive and dangerous spaces within and outside the university, which has spread great concern to members of the university community. If the invasion had been successfully crowned the first victims, as News reports, it would have been the invaders themselves, since they would have faced the consequences of the leak from the laboratory, as well as those who would have contacted the substances. It is not excluded from the invasion that radiation measuring devices were destroyed, as are other machines that exist where their value exceeds EUR 6 million. The newspaper reports that a few days ago the occupations of the School of Positive Sciences moved towards the basement of the building, with the aim of reaching the Biological School, which had been under occupation for many years and had broken a police operation in 2022. This move resulted in them destroying the first of the two low power nuclear reactor shielding systems located in the Atomic and Nuclear Physics Laboratory.
