August 1st begins the withdrawals of 840 euros, with retroactive effect!

Monday will be put to the full implementation of the measures relaxation of capital controls, as well as in accordance with the Union of Greek Banks (EET) until then…
I have completed all the necessary computerized adjustments. He clarifies at the same time, that there is no retroactive effect for the banking movements in between.
“The banks are members of the SCF will complete by August 1, 2016 the necessary computer adjustments to their systems in order to satisfy, with retroactive effect from 22 July 2016, all of the waivers of the restrictions on cash withdrawals and transfers of funds adopted by decision of the minister of Finance No. C.D.The.E. 0001080 ON 2016/G.E. 1475 (GOVERNMENT GAZETTE B 2282/22.7.2016)”, is mentioned.
The announcement of the Union of Greek Bank notes that “the systems of the banks, members of the SCF have already been adjusted, from Friday 22 July 2016, in order cash not taken a day or days to be able to be taken cumulatively up to the amount of 840 euro per two weeks”.
Now the depositors are able to “lift” cumulatively up to 840 euro per two weeks.
So as the banks calculate from the 22nd of July in the amount of 840 euros will be renewed on 5 August and then on 19 August.
It’s not going to increase the limit withdrawals, but to provide the possibility of taking a movement of the above amount, on any day of the designated fortnight.
In the new ministerial decision included the following settings:
1. It is allowed to withdraw an amount of up to 840 euro per two weeks.
2. Allowed early, partial or total, repayment of a loan to a credit institution.
