Attack Τζιτζικώστα to the government for the “Kallikrates”

“Legislative abomination” featured the governor of Central Macedonia, Apostolos Tzitzikostas, the proposals…
of the government for the government and the reform of “Kallikratis”. Speaking at the Regional Council of Central Macedonia, expressed concern and called on the government “before the reactions culminate in the whole of Greece, to reconsider seriously this monstrosity that attempts to implement it across the government”.
Mr Tzitzikostas stated that “the application as the electoral law of proportional representation represents the destruction of self-government” and stated that he will not serve the interests of the citizens, but “possibly the interests of a party that is currently in government, and falling apart and leaving, wants to tear that institution is left standing”. In particular, raised questions about the way in which we achieve cooperation between the factions and explained that the citizens would suddenly find themselves in a state of malfunction or non-operation of the municipalities and the Regions.
At the same time, as reported by the ana-MPA,commented that this is an attempt of a disconnection of the sub-national elections from the european elections with the aim to become the local elections in October 2018, a few months from now, once the municipal and the regional authorities, which were elected in May 2014 and started to operate from 1 September 2014, they have planned and are implementing their work on the basis of the horizon for which they are elected.
