Athens Stock Exchange: Rise 0.33% for the General Index – At 201.41 million euros the turnover

Mild recovery was shown by stock prices at today’s meeting (12.3.2024) after yesterday’s strong correctional retreat. Price closed at 1,395.86 units, rising 0.33%. Intra-Conference, the General Index on the Greek Stock Exchange recorded a higher price at 1,400.07 units (+ 0.63%). The value of transactions fluctuated to high levels and reached 201,41m euros, while 48,963,936 shares were traded. The high capitalisation index showed a marginal rise of 0.09%, while the mid-capitalization index was marginally reinforced to 0.07%. Of the shares in high capitalization, the largest rise was recorded by Saranti (+3.60%), Aegean Airlines (+2.59%), Coca Cola HBC (+2.16%), Autohellas (+2.0%), Lamda (+1.55%) and National (+1.39%). On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded in Eurobank shares (-3.74%), Titan (1.36%), Elvalhalcor (-0.92%) and Alpha Bank (-0.71%). The largest volume of transactions was presented by Piraeus and Eurobank by moving 15,314,061 and 13,475632 shares, respectively. Piraeus recorded the largest transaction value with 59.86m euros and Eurobank with 24.10m euros. Onward 55 shares were moved, 48 jumpers and 23 remained stable. The biggest rise was in shares: Sarant + 3.60% and Kri-Kri + 2.70%. The largest fall was recorded by the shares: Leventeris(p) -20.53% and VIS -4.31%.
