Athens Stock Exchange: Rise 0.29% for the General Index, at 177.85m euros per turnover

Their prices in today’s meeting (13.3.2024) in Athens, with the market closing slightly lower than the 1400 units, which had been broken up intra-sessionally. The General Index on the Stock Exchange closed at 1,399.87 units, recording a rise of 0.29%. Intraconferences recorded a higher value at 1,407.68 units (+0.85%). The value of the transactions was EUR 177,85 million, while 44,443,227 shares were transferred. The high capitalization index rose to 0.21%, while the mid-capitalization index was boosted to 0.74%. Of the shares in high capitalization, the largest rise was recorded by Saranti (+4.19%), Alpha Bank (+1.44%), Terna Energy (+1.31%), Lamda Development (+1.6%) and GEK TERNA (+1.05%). On the contrary, the largest fall was recorded by Motor Oil shares (-1.95%), Quest Shareholders (-1.18%), Titan (1.18%) and Jumbo (-0.84%). The largest volume of transactions was presented by Piraeus and Alpha Bank, moving 10,597,090 and 10,528,731 shares respectively. Piraeus recorded the largest transaction value with 42.25m euros and the National with 31.47m euros. Upward 66 shares, 40 dropouts, and 22 remained stable. The largest increase was noted by shares: Kyriakoulis +17.18% and Centric+12.82%. The largest fall was recorded by the shares: Leventeris (k) -8.38% and Vidavo -7.32%.
