Athens Stock Exchange: Rise 0.11% for the General Index, at 123.61m euros per turnover

At slightly higher levels it closed at the last meeting of the week, while the General closed at 1,427.02 units, rising 0.11%. Intra-sessions recorded a higher value at 1,430.85 units (+ 0.38%) and a lower value at 1,421.22 units (-0.03%) On a weekly basis, the main stock exchange index recorded a moderate rise of 0.30%, while since early 2024 it has gained 10.35%, The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 123,61 million, while 29,829,967 shares were traded. The high capitalization index rose to 0.22%, while the mid-capitalization index marginally declined to 0.07%. Of the shares in high capitalization, the largest rise was recorded by shares of GEK TERNA (+2.37%), Saranti (+2.37%), Terna Energy (+1.53%), Mytilene (+1.43%) and PPA (+1.38%). On the contrary, the largest decline was noted by the shares of Greece (-1,69%), Viohalco (1.54%), Elvalhalcor (-1,46%) and PPC (1.43%). The largest volume of transactions was presented by Piraeus and Alpha Bank by moving 11,510,216 and 6,163,748 shares, respectively. Piraeus recorded the largest transaction value with 46.78m euros and Alpha Bank with 10.53m euros. 50 shares were moved upwards, 52 drops and 19 remained stable. The biggest rise was in shares: Leventeris (p) +12.43% and Elinoil + 9.56%. The biggest fall was recorded by the shares: Cenergy – 3.87% and Napaktos Kicks -2.65%.
