Their prices recorded a gentle decline in today’s (22.3.2024) meeting. Investors went on to mild liquidations for recording short-term profits. At the previous two Stock Exchange meetings the market had recorded a total profit of 1.92%. Since high capitalization, the shares of EYDAP and the ELPE have been overpaid. The General Price Index closed at 1,425.16 units, dropping 0.36%. Intra-sessionly recorded a lower value at 1,423.75 units (-0.46%). The main stock exchange index, on a weekly basis, showed a mild rise of 0.22%, while from the beginning of the year it records 10.21% profits. The value of the transactions fell below the levels of 100m euros and was set at 95.75m euros, while 22,880.020 shares were transferred. The high capitalization index fell to 0.57%, while the mid-capitalization index declined to 0.51%. Of the shares in high capitalization, the largest rise was recorded by the shares of EYDAP (+7,25%), the ELPE (+3,28%), Elvalhalcor (+2,72%), Saranti (+2,42%) and Viohalco (+1,08%). On the contrary, the largest fall was recorded by Alpha Bank (-1.88%), Piraeus (1.76%), Terna Energy (-1.45%), Jumbo (1.44%), PPA (1.42%) and Mytilene (1.25%). The largest volume of transactions was presented by Piraeus and Eurobank by moving 6,679,278 and 3.581,164 shares respectively. Piraeus recorded the largest transaction value with 26.15m euros and the National with 7.29m euros. Upward, 54 shares, 60 dropouts, and 12 remained stable. The largest increase was noted by shares: EYDPA + 7.25% and Centric + 4.86%. The largest fall was recorded by the shares: Hacidos – 9.55% and Q&R -6.09%.
