Athens Exchange: Fall 1.31% – At 182.75m euros

Fiduciary trends recorded share prices in today’s meeting (19.3.2024) by retreating towards the levels of 1,400 units. The market declined after four uphill meetings during which the main stock index on the Athens Stock Exchange recorded a total profit of 2.21%. The General Index closed at 1,403.47 units scoring a decline of 1.31%. The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 182,75 million, of which EUR 36,888 million relates to the transfer of a package corresponding to 3.4% of Aegean Airlines’ shares, at the price of EUR 12 per share. The high capitalization index fell to 1.46%, while the mid-capitalization index declined to 0.57%. Of the shares in high capitalization, the largest rise was recorded by the shares of EYDP (+1.67%), Greece (+1.21%), National (+1.11%) and Eurobank (+0.95%). On the contrary, the largest fall was recorded by Piraeus shares (-3.6%), OPAP (3.57%), Jumbo (-3.37%), Mytilene (-2.74%), Saranti (-2.68%) and Lamda Development (-2.68%). The largest volume of transactions was presented by Piraeus and Eurobank by moving 12,565,669 and 6,437,586 shares, respectively. Piraeus recorded the highest value with 48.10m euros and Aegean Airlines with 38.97m euros. upwards 31 shares were moved, 85 drops and 6 remained stable. The biggest rise was in shares: Leventeris(k) + 7.47% and VIS + 7.21%. The biggest fall was recorded by shares: Frigoglass -9,71% and Hebroparm -5.21%.
