Assistance from the EGE of Lesvos island in the villages of the island affected by the bad weather

where access is difficult, transferring patients with kidney problems and elderly who need assistance in the city of Mytilene.
The members of the EGE on the island will also assist in the transfer of breeders who need to move for the care of their animals.
The assistance of the Greek Rescue Team is done at the request of the Fire department and AMBULANCE services, while in the organization’s offices, which are housed in the building of the Region of Northern Aegean, operates a coordinating center.
Be noted that the severe snowfall on the island continues, with snow in some areas reaches even the half measure.
