Arnold Schwarzenegger had a heart surgery: “Slowly turn into a machine”

He feels “wonderful” after the heart surgery for placement in which he was subjected, as he revealed. On Monday (25.03.2024) the favorite actor and former California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, spoke on the “Arnold’s Pump Club” podcast with a milky dose of humoer for the pacemaker surgery he was subjected to, saying he was slowly turning into a machine. He further stated that ‘ sharing the news contradicts how I grew up in Austria, where no one ever spoke about medical matters. Anything related to health kept it to yourself.” However, the 76-year-old, who said he was born with a bilingual aortic valve – a congenital heart defect – added that he has received so many messages from people born with the same problem. “They tell me that talking about the surgeries I performed gave them courage and hope to face their own problem”, he explained. “I want you to know that I am doing great! I did my surgery Monday and by Friday I was already at a big environmental event with my friend and colleague Jane. Fonda… by the way, when we’re talking about exercise is the only magic pill that slows aging, look at Jane. She is ten years older than me, this year she turns 87!” she said. “I was advised that it was time for a pacemaker because some scar tissue from my previous surgery had made my heart rate irregular. It was so for a few years, I stayed in touch with my medical team and once a year I do a full check-up and see how my heart is”, he concluded.
