Armenia: Police Department Attack in Yerevan · Global Voices

Against a police station in the district of Nor-Nork, Yerevan, they attempted to attack today (24.03.2024) three men, the country’s interior ministry announced. According to the first evidence, two of the three armed men were injured, when the grenades holding for the attack on the building in the capital of Armenia exploded. The third man appears to remain outside the police station holding a grenade. The Russian state news agency TASS broadcast that the Armenian police chief is at the point and is in negotiations with the man. According to the press secretory of the mayor of Yerevan, Hayk Kostanyan, one of the men with a Grenade in his hands is near the police building.
