Arina Sabalenka: The first message after her mate’s death thriller complicates the mystery

“My heart has broken – we were no longer together”, wrote Alina Sabalenka in her first reaction after the death of her partner Konstantin Koltsov. According to Miami police, her celebrity companion did not die of thrombosis but committed suicide. In her first public position on the death of her partner, former hockey player, Konstantin Koltsov, the Belarusian tennis champion went ahead. Sabalenka informed through social media that when the tragic incident happened they had broken up, while asking to respect the privacy of the same and Koltsov’s family. “Constantin’s death is an unspeakable tragedy and although we were no longer together, my heart is broken. Please respect my privacy and his family, during this difficult time.” This is what Sabalenka wrote on her Instagram account. Sabalenka’s suspension came a few hours after Kolchev’s ex-wife’s statement. Juliya Mikhailova argued that his death is not a suicide, as Miami police officers had reported, but an accident caused by excessive alcohol consumption of the 42-year-old. “Very likely he was drunk” before the fatal fall. “Unfortunately, hockey players are sometimes guilty of this,” he said.
