Are digitized more and more Greek sites than Google

Google “digitizes” more Greek locations to help travellers plan their next holiday, thereby supporting the tourism industry in Greece.
With Street View, as highlighted in the announcement, “you have the opportunity to go to Hawaii underwater, to visit the Grand Canyon, or even hike to Macchu Picchu,” says Google.
From today, those who are thinking to travel to Greece, all you need to do is to go to the Street View from their desktop or use the Street View on Google Maps app for Android or iOS, to have a preview of the Athens airport before they left for the trip.
Street View gives travelers the opportunity to see the corridors, the signs for check-in, the baggage claim area, all terminals of the airport and the shops, long before the landing.
Starting today, Street View offers a browsing experience on the beautiful islands of Crete and Sifnos, discovering more of the hidden pathways and unique points of those beautiful treasures of the Mediterranean.
Thanks to the Street View Trekker Loan Programme, two local organisations – such as the Municipality of the Peninsula and the Municipality of Sifnos – had the opportunity to collect unique pictures of the islands: from white beaches to ports and hiking routes to help travelers to choose what they like more as they’re planning their next trip.
