Alter Ego Media: The characterizations for ‘organized economic interests’ do not concern us and do not touch us

An announcement was issued which defends the story from the “Sunday Step” which mentions a distortion of evidence from the tragedy in . Alter Ego Media’s announcement states: “The failure of the government to recognize the deep wound it has left in the body of Greek society, the crime of the Tempes, leads it to tragic deadlocks and unprecedented alchemies. Instead of applauding the unbound, objective, independent press, who has been trying for a year now to disperse the veil of opacity that covers the crime, so as to shed light on the facts that led to the tragedy, he sees ghosts everywhere for “organized economic interests” which supposedly plot to corrupt and make it their hostage. These designations do not concern us and do not touch us. We would recommend in good faith to the government instead of passing expressions that refer directly to the executive parastate, that it be decisively contributing to facilitating Justice to identify the natural and moral perpetrators of the accident. AlterEgoMedia media will continue with persistence, patience, and professional competence to operate in a purely ethical context, against government practices that led the country to 107th place worldwide, in terms of press freedoms.”
