(Title) consumption of excessive amounts of alcohol contribute to early onset of dementia, according to research by Australian scientists.
The fifth of patients who develop early dementia used to consumes too much alcohol, according to lead researcher, Dr. Adrien Gouithal from the University of New South Wales.
“The figure is double previous studies and very disturbing” said Dr. Gouithal and added that “possibly due to excessive consumption of alcohol by young people, especially the shots. Unfortunately, even today, many people do not realize how bad do the long-term health abuses”.
