Agricultural oil: The decision on the advance of the ICC was published

The Decision on the procedure for granting the advance and refund of excise duties ( ) of internal combustion engines used exclusively in agriculture for the year 2024 was published in the Government’s newspaper (Government Gazette). Beneficiaries for the return of internal combustion oil (DIESEL) engines, used exclusively in agriculture, are natural persons (producers within the meaning of par. 4) which have submitted a Single Application for Aid (EAE) for the years 2023 and 2024, have been registered on the Register of Farmers and Agricultural Farmers (MAE) from 1 January 2024 to 31 October 2024 and have been attributed to them the status of ‘professional farmer’ or ‘professional farmer as new entrants in the agricultural sector’. The beneficiaries of the advance payment of the refund of the internal combustion oil (DIESEL) engines, used exclusively in agriculture, are the natural persons listed in paragraph 1 who: (a) have been registered on the Register of Farmers and Rural Development and Food and the Governor of the Independent Public Revenue Authority, (c) and have not submitted a statement that they do not wish to receive the advance in accordance with para. 3. In order to avoid reimbursement by producers of the advance in accordance with the procedure of unduly paid amounts, producers who will not submit a Single Aid Application (EAE) for the year 2024, or who are not intending to enter the Register of Farmers and Agricultural Farmers (MAE), from 1 January 2024 to 31 October 2024, as ‘professional farmers’ or as ‘professional farmers as newcomers in the agricultural sector’, or who do not wish to receive the advance for any other reason, shall submit a declaration to the MAEA, up to 15-03-2024. The statement shall be submitted by e-mail, with proof of receipt, to the Support and Register of Farmers and Agricultural Farms (MAE) of the General Directorate of Decentralised Structures of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, in which the number of the producer’s Tax Register (VAT) should be required. This declaration states that the producer does not wish to receive an advance on the refund of the excise duty on diesel engines, which is used exclusively in agriculture.
