AEK – Prometheus: Greek Civil War at Basketball Champions League with one-sided interest

AEK and they clash tonight (19:30, Cosmote Sport 4) in Liosia for the final game of the Basketball Champions League season. The Greek Civil War in Basketball Champions League has a one-sided interest, as only Prometheus “burns” for victory, having too many hopes of qualifying in the quarter-finals. Instead, AEK will play for its prestige, wanting to celebrate at least one victory in the second phase of the event. Prometheus needs the victory in Liosia – or the defeat of Hapoel Holon to Murcia – to qualify for the quarterfinals of the event, and has shown himself capable of getting it, having won the Union in all their games this season. Greek basketball has done great this year in the Basketball Champions League, with the Dove already in the quarterfinals.
