Aegean: Barrage of violations by Turkish spies

Four Turkish planes flew over the Archipelago today

Thirty violations of the national airspace were carried out today by the Turkish Air Force.

According to GEETHA, two CN 235 spy planes and two F-16 fighter jets flew over the archipelago. The spies committed 29 violations while the Turkish F-16 fighters committed one.

At the same time, they proceeded with three violations of the air traffic rules in the Athens FIR. Turkish aircraft moved to the Northeast, Central, and Southeast Aegean.

According to GEETHA, the Turkish aircraft were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules, according to established practice.
