ADE: The first filling of a fuel station for 2 years for an illegal tank with adulterated fuel

In the first sealing of a fuel station, for two years, customs auditors of the Independent Public Revenue Authority ( ) proceeded. The on-the-spot check found that the parked vehicle at the tanker station had connected the fuel supply hose to the station receiving network. The controllers have instructed the driver of the tanker to start filling the network with the transported unknown product in order to determine whether the input into the input-output system is recorded and to ascertain whether it is a filling of a legitimate tank. After the 500 litres out of the tank to the tank, no indication of input log appeared in the input-output system. Following this, a decision to seal the station was adopted for two years. The adulterated and confiscated fuel will be destroyed by an authorised hazardous waste disaster operator, while the data of the infringement will be published on the AADE website. The audit was coordinated by the Operational Centre (SEK) of AADE with the cooperation of the Hellenic Economic Police, the Ministry of Environment and Energy and the Ministry of Development.
