ADE: Double block in 10 tanks with dangerous fuel distortion solvents

In the identification and binding of significant quantities (252,000 kg) of dangerous solvents, used for , advanced Auditors of the AADE in two places, in Patras and Evzonos. In particular: (a) At the Patras Customs Office, nine tankers were detected from a Community country with a suspected cargo. They sent a sample to the Chemistry, and the analysis found that they were dangerous solvents used for fuel distortion. 229,000 pounds of solvents were falsely declared by other product codes. The corresponding taxes and fees are set at 300,000 euros. (b) At the Evzon Customs Office, following an investigation into a Bulgarian tank plate, the auditors found that: The tanker carried 23,000 kg of solvents that, when mixed with gasoline, are used to create adulterated gasoline fuel. The recipient company did not have any real facilities in the area, which stated as its headquarters, in Thessaloniki. The place of delivery of the merchandise was known to the authorities from a previous case of smuggling chemical solvents and ethyl alcohol, in which the owner of the site was involved. The total amount of duties and taxes lost was set at EUR 30,000. Tractor, tanker and product were seized.
