Actor Ron Harper died at the age of 91

Ron Harper who had starred in the television series “The planet of monkeys” (1974), at the age of 91, his family announced. Actor Ron Harper, who had participated in the films “87th Precinct”, “Wendy and Me”, “Land of the Lost”, “The Jean Arthur Show” and “Garrison’s Gorillas”, died on Thursday (21.03.2024) of natural causes at his home in West Hills, according to his daughter Nicole Longey. The Hollywood actor also appeared in the films “The Tall Man” and “Laramie”, while also starring in the classic film “Pearl Harbour” alongside Matt Damon in 2001. Ron Harper (Ron Harper) was born on January 12, 1936 in Pennsylvania. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he settled in New York City. After several disappointments he earned a job as a student of Paul Newman in his Broadway work “Sweet Bird of Youth” in 1959. Moving to Hollywood, his first role was in 1960 for NBC television series, “Tales of Wells Fargo”.
