AC Schnitzer: New AC5 Flowforming rims in dimensions 22′′ and 23′′ - Athens Times

AC Schnitzer: New AC5 Flowforming rims in dimensions 22′′ and 23′′

The new AC5 Flowforming rims, combining modern design with the top quality of construction, come to upgrade the appearance and road behavior of BMW’s largest and strongest SUVs, evolved specifically for the top X5, X6, X7 and XM, and are offered in two color combinations: BiColor (silver/black) and Gloss Black. The advanced design of AC5 Flowforming is a development of AC Schnitzer’s characteristic design with double rays. The pentagon central cap, as well as the five double rays starting from it, are a familiar image. But then the plan completely differs, compared to what the famous improved house has presented to date. Each part of the rim is visually divided into two rays of different width, thus forming peculiarly, double “Y” outwards. Right there, at the points of the beam compound with the rim circumference, the most distinctive feature of AC5 Flowforming is located. Behind the rays there is an internal “scalopati” with a very careful finish, which owes its existence to the unique way of making the rim. This feature is particularly highlighted in the BiColor version, thanks to contrast of black color inside the rays, with the silver outer surface. The flow forwarding mode guarantees the absolute geometric balance of the rim and optimal weight distribution. It is one of the most advanced zoning technologies, which, among other things, allows the use of thinner surfaces in relation to conventional light alloy rims, giving greater freedom to design. The new AC5 Flowforming rims are available in dimensions of 10,5J x 22′′, 10,5J x 23′′ and 11,5J x 23′′. They can be used with tyres up to 295/35 R23 for the front wheels and up to 335/30 R23 for the rear, giving a more attractive and more dynamic appearance to BMW’s larger and stronger SUVs. The weight for the three available dimensions is 18,2, 19,5 and 20.5 kg, respectively. AC Schnitzer’s products are imported into Greece by Sport Car Technology SA, a company of Spanos Group.
