AADE: 136,673 e-mails to professionals and businesses for cash – POS interconnection

Information e-mails to 136,673 professionals and businesses that have not yet moved on to the POS interface, sent by the Independent Public Revenue Authority ( ). “We are entering the final line for the completion of a long-awaited project this cash machine interface with POS, which will rewrite the rules of sound entrepreneurship and ensure the smooth functioning of the market,” said AADE Commander George Pitsilis. By e-mail interested persons are invited by 1 April 2024 to contact the company from which they have purchased their cash machine and, where appropriate, to: book an appointment on a date within April to upgrade their cash machine and its interconnection with their POS, declare that the cash machine is interconnected with a commercial/account management program (ERP). In this case, the interconnection obligation is transferred to 31.5.2024 or 30.6.2024 (with an appointment declaration to be made by 31.5.2024). If the company from which they supplied their cash machine does not have availability for an appointment within April, the parties concerned may: address another technical support undertaking, which will have availability, declare on the POS Registry by 29 March 2024 their intention to replace their cash machine with an All-in-One certified solution, which they should purchase and operate by 30 April 2024. It is recalled that the interconnection concerns the total of the cashiers available to the company/professional, while in the event of its non-pre-term completion the debtors will face high fines.
