The audience of the 57th Film Festival of Thessaloniki will have the opportunity to enjoy two classic and favorite movies …
of Greek cinema in terms of universal accessibility for all people.

These films will be screened with audio description [AD: Audio Description] for vision-impaired people and with subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing [SDH: Subtitles for the Deaf or hard of Hearing] custody and certification of the Movement of Artists with Disabilities.
Also, 17 Greek films will be screened with subtitles on the basis of dialogues, so that they can attend a deaf and hard of hearing viewers.
The halls will be welcome, of course, and the (green) guide dogs for the blind, while the program of the Festival will be available in Braille and in large font (with the cooperation of the Center for Education and Αποκαταστάσως Blind – Thessaloniki branch) and in QR code. Also, the opening ceremonies, closing as well as the two views universal accessibility will have interpretation in the Greek Sign Language [E.N.C.].
The staff and volunteers of the Film Festival of Thessaloniki have been trained and in service to its audience of three, with disabilities and familiarity with the living situation of disability, creating a friendly, in addition to accessible environment.
