12.000 καρνάβαλοι in the Carnival of Xanthi

Mr. Τολίδης also estimated that this year the city will choose to do carnivals in Texas, which is just 2 hours from Thessaloniki.
From the side of the Paschalis Λύρατζης, president of the Cultural Center of Xanthi said: “the soul of the parade are volunteers. The Carnival combines the tradition and folklore of the region. This year our events are impressive”. As noted, the “soul of the organization” the citizens of xanthi prepare the carnival of the twelve months of the year. He also said that the organization participate voluntarily 35 cultural associations, and how the big parade will attend a 12,000 revelers.
