Μουζάλας: Compensation to those who suffered damage from the migration

Strongly critical of those who argue that the conditions created in Greece…
from the wave, it’s not extraordinary, appeared in the House the minister responsible Immigration Policy, John Μουζάλας, stressing that they are bad in the country, with the opposition of that argument.
“We give battle in Europe to convince them that the conditions in Greece remain exceptional, with the aim to ensure staff and funds,” stressed mr Μουζάλας, on the occasion of the amendment of the ministry of the Interior in this bill.
The amendment, which relates to measures for the acceleration of the government’s project, provides for the payment of compensation to the residents of the Municipality for damages that have been noted that have suffered from the huge wave of immigration.
At the same time, mr. Μουζάλας stressed, that this is an attempt to be prepared and be submitted soon and a new, more general setting, which will be awarded through ELGA, money for damages that have been suffered and other municipalities of the migration flows, such as the Idomeni.
“We are preparing legislation for there to be a more general setting, in order to be paid by ELGA compensation. It would be wrong to delay any longer. We want as quickly as possible to cover their expenses for such cases. Soon will be given, and in the municipality of Ειδομένης compensation,” said mr. Μουζάλας.
At the same time, he attacked those who, as he said, argue with the opposition of their reason, that the conditions are not exceptional in Greece, stressing that these claims are bad for the country.
“You’ve entered in the People’s or the Socialist party, that the conditions in Greece is not exceptional to you? I go to Europe, we are trading and we insist that the circumstances are exceptional, for us to be able to bring the Frontex agency and to increase the funds. Seven months after the dissolution of the Ειδομένης and the conditions are exceptional.
Do not put this claim in opposition to your reason. In Germany, 18 months later, and the circumstances remain exceptional. We give battle in Europe to ensure not only money, but also staff. There are states that are hostile and contrary to what we say. Give the opposite battle, arguing that the conditions are not exceptional in Greece. Don’t boost” said mr. Μουζάλας.
