In a recent interview on ‘Mega Weekend’ last Saturday (29.3.25), Zoe Konstantopoulou, President of the Pleura Eleftherias party, launched a fierce attack against former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras. She accused him of betraying the people’s trust, violating the democratic mandate from the referendum he called, and bringing back the very austerity measures that Greeks had collectively rejected. Konstantopoulou further criticized Tsipras for not speaking in Parliament for two years, calling him ‘sold out from the start’ and accusing him of mocking everyone. Additionally, she mentioned the pre-trial investigation involving Christos Triantopoulos, likening him to Mitsotakis as someone who went with the Prime Minister’s directive to cover their tracks. Konstantopoulou also criticized Kyriakos Mitsotakis, alleging he has conspired with MPs to undermine the authority of the pre-trial committee and judicial process. She concluded by stating her goal is to meet all responsibilities and uphold the trust placed in her by citizens.
