Today, June 17, 2025, former Evelpidon School hosted the trial to settle the defamation lawsuit filed by actress Zeta Douka against director Giorgos Kimoulis. The case dates back to 2021 when Douka accused Kimoulis of psychological, physical, and verbal abuse during their collaboration on a theatrical production. Nicos Psarras and Dora Chrysikou stood by Douka from the start, having been part of the same play where the incident allegedly occurred. In response, Kimoulis filed a countersuit demanding €700,000 in damages from the actors and called upon a theater technician to testify in his favor. Douka subsequently filed charges against both Kimoulis and the technician, alleging false testimony. Artemis Dialyna, one of Douka’s lawyers, stated on Alpha TV’s ‘Super Katerina’ show that the defamation lawsuit was due to Kimoulis’ claims denying the alleged incident and accusing Douka of being arrogant, unprofessional, and disrespectful. He also presented witnesses to corroborate these accusations.
