Recent protests in Thailand have raised questions about the stability and development of the country’s democracy. But, as VOA’s Daniel Schearf reports from Bangkok, while demonstrations were sometimes violent and highlight a growing division, they also mark a transition in Thai people’s participation in the country’s politics.
