Zelenski asks the West for a “strong” response to Putin threats

The Ukrainian president called today (28/11/2024) his allies to oppose a “strong response” to his “extortion”, who threatened to strike Kiev with the new Oresnik supersonic missile. “Every blackmail of Russia must receive a firm response,” Volontimir Zelenski said in a video speech referring to what Vladimir Putin said. He estimated Putin’s goal is to disrupt efforts to end the war, especially U.S. elected president Donald Trump. “He does not want the war to end. In addition, Putin wants to prevent others seeking to end the war,” the president of Ukraine said. “It can continue to threaten with (missile) Oresnik, only to prevent President Trump’s efforts, which are certain to take place after his inauguration. Putin wants to escalate the situation to such an extent that President Trump’s efforts fail. So that he could not end the war,” Zelenski said.
