19-year-old Michael Τζαβαλάς hailing from Macherado Zakynthos, the residents and professionals of the island erupts for the bloodshed that happens every summer in the main road of Laganas and is as a result of the death of young people.
Michael Τζαβαλάς he lived and worked as a delivery to a coffee of Laganas. He moved with his motorbike, a type of Krypton on the main road, when under mysterious circumstances, he collided with a white VW Polo which was driving a foreign woman. From the brunt of the conflict, the 19-year-old young man hit in the upper right part of his head. Although citizens rushed to provide first aid until the ambulance came, the pulses of Michalis stopped ringing.
The song he uploaded to facebook a little bit before he lost his life
Yesterday morning, Michael posted a perhaps prophetic song in his profile on facebook stating “combat ready”. The song titled “The fighter,” talks about life and its difficulties. This was the last post made a little while before he found a tragic death on the main street of Laganas.
Some time ago, Michael had another major surgery on his right leg.
The driver of the car
On the steps of the mini market, which pinned the white Polo, sobbing the foreign driver said he didn’t see the bike while trying to turn to vertical street to go home after work. A friend of 19-year-old came into the hands of police

On Saturday at 12 noon the funeral of Michael
On the Saturday afternoon, parents, 4 brothers, friends and fellow villagers, I say the last goodbye to Michael. The funeral service will be held at the Church of Ag. Maura ΜαχαιÏάδου.

“You need to stop immediately the movement of vehicles on this road. You have to become a pedestrian zone.” Reason for interests and petty political considerations do the professionals and residents of the area, after having made every year spectators of tragic accidents on that particular road. Only yesterday, there were two other car accidents with injuries, and today, some time ago there was injury a driver involved in a car accident. The road should be pedestrianised directly, to prohibit the passage of buses, trucks, cars and motorcycles to stop this evil that has resulted in the wrongful death of dozens of young people every year.
