You’ll understand that it’s time to change your job?

Too many people choose to remain in “dead-end” jobs.
in jobs that they hate to do, or jobs that do not offer the opportunity for professional development only and only because they believe that there are no alternatives, or because of their need for security.
How can you understand, however, that the time has come to consider seriously the possibility to leave the present job and look for something else? Dr. Ronald E. Riggio, author and former head of the Institute Kravis Leadership in the college of Claremont McKenna, has the following remarks and advice on this topic:
There is no possibility of advancement
It’s something that happens more frequently in family businesses. Usually, only the relatives of the owner have real opportunities for advancement. A lot of people are slow to realize this and remain in a job you don’t have the ability to increase neither their powers nor their wages.
“Toxic” working environment
There are few cases of people who are victims of verbal abuse, pure exploitation, and even sexual harassment in the workplace, but are reluctant to leave for fear that they would not find another job. It’s not the right thing to submit yourself to an intense daily work-related stress, since this has serious impacts on both physical and mental health.
The work you do has significantly lower requirements for your qualifications
If you feel that you remain stationary for too long at your current job, because the subject is too easy or too low-level for you, and if you have bigger ambitions, then it is definitely time to start looking for a position that will allow you to grow.
Most companies encourage their employees to learn new skills, and some even offer programs of post-graduate education, because they realize the value of better qualified employees/executives. Look for a company that supports the professional development of employees and continuous learning.
You are staying on the job due to custom
Ask yourself, did you stay in a job only because it just seems easier to stay than to try something new. Did you just hesitate to put yourself back into the job market and just choose to settle for the few? These are signs that it’s time to proceed to something new.
