The renowned actor, who recently parted ways with Marilena Lampropoulou after 18 years together, has turned a new page in his life. Focusing on his new professional ventures, Dalianis remains deeply affected by the tragedy at Tempi. He finds it troubling that public pressure demands the truth to come out. Personally, he is not convinced that things have improved in the railway system since the accident. As Yiannis Dalianis stated during an interview on the ‘Buongiorno’ show on Mega TV, the mere thought of his daughter taking a train from Athens to Thessaloniki distresses him. ‘It worries me if my daughter has to travel to Thessaloniki by train; these days, it troubles me,’ he expressed. ‘We must take action, as it is already happening.’ Referring to the Tempi incident, he added, ‘It consoles me and gives me strength because it shows we are not sleeping on it, there is memory and something we demand.’ Despite the divorce, Dalianis claims life has improved. He and Marilena Lampropoulou met and became a couple in 2007 during the filming of the series ‘Ichni.’ Two years later, they married and had two daughters, including their 12-year-old daughter Elli, who starred in the successful ERT series ‘Agapi Paranomi.’
