Yemen: Huthi Take Responsibility for Both Missile Attacks in Israel · Global Voices

The Huthi rebels took responsibility for two missile attacks against him, where the army reported today (07.10.2024) that he intercepted a rocket. The United States estimates that Israel’s land operations in Lebanon are still limited, a State Department spokesman said today. On the first anniversary of the start of the Gaza Strip war, Israeli forces appear ready to expand their land operations to southern Lebanon. U.S. Department of State spokesman Matthew Miller told reporters that Washington expects Israel to hurt the Hezbollah organization in a manner consistent with international humanitarian law and minimise civilian casualties.
