in

Explosions were heard late Sunday evening (06/07/2025) in the port of Hodeidah, Yemen, according to eyewitnesses cited by news agency Reuters. This followed an announcement from the Israeli military, which issued evacuation orders for three ports in Yemen, stating that it would target these areas due to ongoing military activities. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released an ‘urgent’ evacuation warning for three ports controlled by the Houthis in Yemen, saying they would soon be targeted by Israeli airstrikes. In a post on X, the IDF spokesperson in Arabic, Colonel Avichay Adraee, warned people present at the Ras Isa, Hodeidah, and Salif ports along the western coast to evacuate immediately. He also urged individuals inside the Ras Al-Katheeb power station in Hodeidah to vacate the area for their safety.
