Worrying about the queen’s health Camilla – She will not go to Qatar’s official reception

Two months have passed since her respiratory infection and still appears to be trying to get over her. Queen Camila will now lose the official welcome of Qatar’s state visit, due to the “prolonged side effects” of chest infection as foreign media publish. Buckingham Palace said Camilla would attend other “parts” of the day’s program, including arrival lunch and state banquet. However, the 77-year-old will retire for a while during reception at the banquet. This is because it faces “reduced energy reserves” as well as other “prolonged side effects”. The doctors advised Camilla to take time to rest and recover fully. The queen recently missed the royal performance on 22 November due to “some prolonged post-viral symptoms” of chest infection. In a statement he issued a few hours before the event, he said he retired “with great sadness”. King, 75, attended the event, presented by comedian Alan Carr and actress Amanda Holden. Camila was also forced to miss the memorial events earlier in November. He did not attend the Memorial Festival of the Royal British Legion, nor the Memorial Day ceremony in Cenotaph, but commemorated the anniversary “privately at home”. He hosted only a reception for the Booker Award at Clarence House in mid-November, where he said to writer Percival Everett: “I think I’m in recovery, but these things always take a little time to overcome… You think you got rid of them, but they remain and I hope now I’m in recovery,” he added. The queen was infected with chest infection after her long journey to Australia and Samoa in October.
