World Cup Fever in Area? No, But Soccer Is Gaining
Forty minutes into the United States’ introductory 2010 FIFA World Cup game last weekend, perhaps to everybody’s surprise, U.S. midfielder Clint Dempsey’s shot somehow slipped through the fingers of a presumably distracted England goalie, Robert Green.
