Williams-Goss: ‘It Would Be an Honor to Compete for the Greek National Team’

The 30-year-old guard expressed his desire to play for the Greek national basketball team, stating it would be a great honor if it were to become a reality. Williams-Goss spoke with ‘betarades’ and responded positively to questions about potentially acquiring a Greek passport and playing for Greece’s national team. “It would be a great honor for me. Clearly, representing a country like Greece would be perfect. So yes, I think anyone would be happy to have a Greek passport,” said the American guard of Olympiacos. Williams-Goss joined Greece in the summer of 2018 to play for Olympiacos after a season with Partizan. He left for a year but returned to the Piraeus team in 2023, continuing to excel on the court.
