Aetolia-Acarnania: Blaze at Ano Kerassovo, Agrinio
Another fire erupted in low vegetation near Ano Kerassovo, Agrinio, in Aetolia-Acarnania. Twenty-three firefighters—including a foot team from the 6th EMODE unit—responded with eight vehicles and four aircraft. Volunteers and municipal water tankers joined the effort. According to the Fire Service, the fire is now contained, with no active front remaining.
Epirus: Fire Near Kefalovryso, Ioannina
A fire broke out near Kefalovryso in the Ioannina regional unit of Epirus. Initial reports indicate it burned close to a residential settlement. Strong firefighting forces were dispatched immediately, and local residents reportedly assisted in suppression efforts, according to EpirusTV.
Lemnos: Fire at Petalo, Portianou
A wildfire also ignited in the Petalo area of Portianou, in the Lemnos regional unit. Early reports suggest the fire is under control, thanks to rapid mobilisation by firefighters and citizens. Operations continue to ensure full extinguishment and prevent re-ignition.
